At least three young girls were killed and another injured when their home collapsed in Parwan province due to heavy rain on Monday night, local officials said.
According to the District Governor Mohammad Ako Gul, more than 100 homes in the district of Shenwari collapsed because of the heavy rain.
"The victims were members of one family," Gul said. "So far there have been no aids sent to the area for the residents."
Lately, Mother Nature in Afghanistan has caused damages throughout the country putting the lives of Afghans at risk.
Late Monday night, families and friends traveling between Badghis and Herat were trapped in route because of a heavy snowstorm. Several were left in their cars freezing as roads and vision was not clear to operate vehicles.
